Get Fit For It Friday ~ Challenge Accepted



Finally it is Friday again!!!!!! Sometimes the week just slips away from us and other times it seems to drag on forever but finally Friday is here!

Whether your week was slow or flew by, join us in a challenge today that is in addition to your planned activities!

Most of us don't take enough time to thoroughly stretch and allow our muscles to lengthen or heal. Today's challenge is to do 30 minutes or more of yoga/stretching of some kind. Try to hold the poses/stretches for at least 20-30 seconds before moving to your next one. To have a full-functioning body, you must be flexible and balanced, which means you need to take the time to stretch. In addition to 30 minutes of yoga, see if you can foam roll your tightest muscle group for 10 minutes or more. If you have time and want to foam roll for longer and on other muscles- please do!

Have fun with it and don't forget to smile and breathe as you are working!
