Breaking Down Barriers
Whether our barriers come from our internal doubts or an external stimulus, we all come across road blocks at certain points along our journey through life. It is not a matter of how to avoid these obstacles but how we react when we come upon one. If we want to reach our end goal, we must break down each wall and continue forward. Developing strategies to help us stay calm and focused when we have to face these challenges will provide us with the strength we need to overcome each one. No where is it written that life is easy. It is hard work, confidence, strong willpower and determination that create success. Setbacks and struggles are learning opportunities we can use to move closer to our goals. We can only fail if we stop trying.
This week we ask you to think about the barriers in your life that hold you back. Write them down and think about the ways you can get past each one. Don't let anything or anyone (even yourself) hold you back from your dreams! Think positively and work harder every day this week at making yourself do what you need to do to reach your goal! Focus on the end result rather than instant gratification.
