Motivational Monday ~ Gearing up for a new month

We are back! We have missed blogging and sharing our passion of health and wellness to you all. We hope you stayed motivated throughout July and used our older posts to bring something new and challenging to your life during our break.


Today, we ask you to take 15-30 minutes and sit down with a pen and paper to write down your goal for the upcoming month. August 1st is Thursday and you need to be prepared for the new month and your new goal or challenge. Take this time to write down the things you must do everyday to reach the goal you set. The goal can be a short term goal or stepping goal leading to a long term goal down the road. We want you to take the time to sit down and write out your "to-do" list for each day of the month so you have something to follow and keep you on track. Taking some time before the month will help you save time during the month, keep you on schedule and help you stay motivated each and every day! Remember when you set goals to set SMART (specific, measurable. achievable, realistic and timely) goals and break them down into the specific tasks you must do to accomplish them. This may seem very daunting at first, but we assure you, it is well worth your time and effort! Don't let it stress you out but make it something fun that you look forward to because it is what will help you succeed in reaching your ultimate goal! Lastly, we want to encourage you to narrow your focus so you do not overload yourself and set yourself up to fail.
