So many times we find ourselves thinking about how we can justify our excuses and our actions in order to feel less guilty about not following through with something. When we give up, part of us wants to deny the fact we quit so we create a skewed reality that provides us with what sounds like a reasonable grounds for throwing in the towel. This week we challenge you to think about accountability. A common excuse we hear for why someone didn’t workout is because their workout buddy bailed on them and they just didn’t have the motivation to do it alone. Personal accountability is key to success in life, not just fitness. You have to be the one to push yourself to your limits and take you to your edge. Although others are great to have, they will not be there every time and you have to have the ability to live on your own and accomplish your “must-do’s” no matter what! So this week, you are committing to taking your workouts, nutrition, career and social life into your own hands and doing everything you think about and want to do no matter who is or is not there. Hold yourself accountable for everything that you prioritize this week and do at least three things each day you need to get done to help you be happy with yourself and your life right now! Don’t wait for next week or next month, take control right now and do what you need to do to smile. Own your life and you will be surprised how much you can accomplish and how amazing you feel about yourself. The rewards are worth the push to do something even in less than ideal conditions.
Join us this week and own your life, your health and your fitness!
