Today is Get Fit For It Friday! Are you ready to challenge yourself today????
This Week's Challenge: Who doesn't love lunges?
Get outside even if the weather isn't the best and work those legs! Find a street block that isn't too crowded with pedestrians and lunge walk the distance of the block. Looking for more of a challenge? Lunge walk around the whole block or even multiple loops! If you need to modify, do the length you can lunging and then take a rest and see if you can do another set or more. Just pushing yourself to do one hard set is challenging enough, don't get caught up in the exact distance. Just remember to breathe through the lunges and keep going. One step at a time, you will finish them! The mind will get bored and give up before your legs, push through that mental barrier and accomplish the challenge! If you can, find some friends to join you so you have a group going down the street!
Good luck and have fun with it. Come up with a chant to say or a fun story about why you are lunging so when people walking by ask you, you have a crazy answer for them.
