Take-In Thursday ~ 4th of July Picnic recipe


Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!

To celebrate the holiday we thought we would offer you a recipe you could bring to one of your many 4th of July parties. We hope you enjoy this healthy salsa! Please have a safe and fun-filled holiday sharing it with your closest friends and family.


Jicama-Berry Salsa
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh strawberries, slivered
1 cup jicama, diced
1/2 cup radishes, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
1/2 cup lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients and stir until well combined. Place in refrigerator to chill or eat at room temperature. Serve with beet and blue corn chips.
